The 2022 “Nightmare at Orkney Park” Halloween event thrilled all!

After some discussion over the years about a winter event, this seemed like the year to try it.

Our second fall gala was easier as we all knew our roles and followed our template of past events.

It has become expected that each spring we bring together Lawrence street and the neighborhood for a kickoff to summer.

As the Earthday birthday date moved to midweek, we incorporated our cleanup into Northern Liberties Annual spring Garden/parks cleanup date.

Our fall fundraiser for 2018 was our most ambitious event.

Our second Annual spring fundraiser with a “Game night” theme is sponsored by Liberty Rental who provide popcorn, snow cones and hot dog machines.

Our second Annual cleanup is scheduled on our birthday/earth day.

This was our first fall event. We picked up fire pits, roasted (s'mores) & toasting (boozy drinks and Yard's beer for the adults; cider and hot chocolate for the kiddos).

During the summer of 2017 we reached out to local groups, foundations and ageng to network and find alies and partners for this project.

Our first fundraising event was a fun casual affair with beer, wine, pizzias, live music.

We created some promotional content, logo, facebook page, website and scheduled our first fundraising event for June 21st, a summer solstice party.

With that energy and feedback, we scheduled and organized a cleanup removing trash and debris.
